RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overall responsibility for developing and helping sell solutions based on client goals, best practices and Encore’s capabilities. Specific responsibilities include:
- Help our sales team differentiate Encore from the competition and position us as knowledge leaders who are experienced in litigation best practices and sophisticated solutions.
- Assess each client’s individual challenges and needs and capture client goals and milestones
- Educate client regarding cost effective and defensible methods
- Architect and present solution options to client and work closely with client in assessing multiple courses of action
- Gain confidence of clients through expertise and knowledge and demonstrating how our solutions are in the client’s best interest
- Help the client understand how the company will complete a particular project
- Work with Sales to help propose, present and close the deal
- Formally document client requirements and the proposed solution and get client signoff
- Work with in-house and outside counsel and corporate IT departments to ensure well coordinated electronic discovery execution
- Function as the essential transition between sales and project management
- Provide ongoing guidance to project management team and ensure projects execution is in line with client goals
- Stay abreast of industry developments and incorporate new best practices into our solution offerings to keep them competitive.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent writing, speaking and presentation skills
- Excellent knowledge of electronic discovery and litigation support arena including:
- Litigation support technologies
- Discovery practices, both standard and best practices
- Services such as electronic discovery, repositories, scanning, coding, blowback, etc.
- Law firm structure
- Litigation Support roles, practices, and software
- Corporate IT systems and practices including: media, backup routines, retention, networks, software and hardware
- Working knowledge of litigation technology, including key applications and tools (e.g. scan software, OCR software, litigation support databases, etc.)
- Direct experience in managing multiple complex litigations involving document collection, forensics, electronic data processing, large scale online document review and production
- Excellent understanding of the rules that apply to electronic discovery including important cases and rulings
